Bio

Welcome to my personal profile page. I am Md. Samsul Arefin and serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Leather Engineering (LE), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET),Khulna-9203. I am proud to be a member almost at the inception of the department.At present,Leather and Footwear sector is considered as the most emerging sector in Bangladesh after RMG.Government of Bangladesh emphasizes to establish the department realzing the potentiality of the sector in both in local and export market. It is the 2nd department of its kind in Bangladesh after University of Dhaka in this field to develop human resources and also to facilitate the growing sector. It’s our challenge to develop human resources as well as conduct research activities to cope up with new problems arising in the sector with new ideas and modern technologies.
